Transmissions
Next Gen Drivetrain's built transmissions proudly feature a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. OEM replacement transmissions are the only exception, featuring only a 6 month/unlimited mileage warranty. Our warranty covers all cost associated with repairing our transmission. Although warranty claims are very rare, nearly all warranty claims occur within the first 90 days. Due to this, we offer additional coverage for shipping and labor for the first 90 days. We will reimburse up to 8 hours of labor at up to $125/hr plus up to $200 for fluid for removal and replacement during this 90 days as well. Shafts, Hubs and gears are considered hard part failures and ARE NOT COVERED against breakage! Customer is responsible for all costs associated with damage caused by broken hard parts. Hard part breakage is considered abuse and is NOT warrantied under any circumstances! All warranties are non-transferable and do not cover abuse to the item. This includes any unit used in excess of our stated power ratings. Units that have been tampered with beyond removal of the pan for servicing will not be warrantied. Also the use of a trans-brake or Nitrous on any of our torque converters is not authorized unless the appropriate upgrades are purchased. Some of our items may also need additional upgrades as deemed suited by Next Gen Drivetrain in order to be installed in some applications. If the recommended upgrades are not purchased and the unit fails due to the non-upgraded parts, the respective warranty will be voided. Warranty does NOT cover improper installation, this includes but is not limited to performing a quick learn (if applicable), proper oil level, replacing or hot-flushing the transmission cooler, etc. Units that have been oil deprived are considered neglect or improper installation. The Next Gen Drivetrain does not include labor for the removal or installation of any product, including defective items. The Next Gen Drivetrain warranty does not cover any costs associated with a failure or defective item, including but not limited to the following: downtime, rental car, labor, storage fees, fluids, towing charges, travel costs and consequential damage to the transmission or driveline. Any defective item must be sent back to Next Gen Drivetrain, freight prepaid, and upon receipt will be inspected for damage. Next Gen Drivetrain will at it's sole discretion either repair or replace the defective item.
