Warranty Policy & Processes

*We are required to keep records of all warranty claims. Because of this, a Warranty Claim Form must be submitted before any warranty support can begin.*

Transmissions:

Next Gen Drivetrain's built transmissions proudly feature a two-year unlimited mileage warranty. Our warranty covers all cost associated with repairing or replacing (if necessary) our transmission. We also offer 90 days of additional coverage for shipping and labor. We will reimburse up to 8 hours of labor at up to $125/hr plus up to $200 for fluid for removal and replacement during this 90 days as well. Shipping or freight is covered when provided by us.

All warranties are non-transferable and do not cover abuse/neglect to the item such as but not limited to water damage/no fluid maintenance/power beyond the advertised limit. All unit power ratings are in engine horsepower. Units that have been tampered with beyond fluid and filter maintenance cannot be warrantied. If there is evidence the transmission has been tampered with or opened by a third party, the warranty will be voided. Also the use of a trans-brake or Nitrous on any of our torque converters is not authorized unless the appropriate upgrades are purchased.

Warranty does NOT cover improper installation, this includes but is not limited to performing a quick learn before driving the vehicle (if applicable), proper oil level, replacing or hot-flushing the transmission cooler, etc. Units that have been oil deprived are considered neglect or improper installation. 100% of warranty claims must have a warranty claim form filed before warranty support may begin. Our transmission warranty registration form requires various checks to be performed that ensure that the transmission was properly installed. Because of this, if the warranty registration form is not submitted to us at time of install, the warranty will be voided.

The Next Gen Drivetrain warranty does not cover any indirect costs associated with a failure or defective item, including but not limited to the following: downtime, rental car, labor, storage fees, fluids, towing charges, travel costs and consequential damage to the transmission or driveline. Any defective item must be sent back to Next Gen Drivetrain, freight prepaid, and upon receipt will be inspected for damage. Next Gen Drivetrain will at it's sole discretion either repair or replace the defective item. We cannot authorize third party repairs for any reason.

Torque Converters:

Next Gen Drivetrain Torque Converters come with a 24 month/Unlimited mileage warranty. Our warranty covers all cost associated with repairing or replacing (if necessary) our torque converter. The warranty cannot cover torque converter failures caused by a third party's transmission or tuning defect.

Rebuild Kits + Parts:

Next Gen Drivetrain rebuild kits and parts are considered DIY items and are guaranteed to be clear of any defects at the time you receive the parts but do not have a term warranty as we cannot warranty third party work. Some products have an exception to this policy. If the product does not explicitly state an exception to this policy, this policy applies.

Valve Bodies:

Next Gen Drivetrain valve bodies are guaranteed not to fail for life. These products have an unlimited mileage/lifetime warranty. We cannot warranty damage caused by external factors such as fluid contamination, dirtiness or physical damage. The Next Gen Drivetrain valve body warranty does not cover install labor or fluids, but only repair or replacement (if necessary) of the valve body.

We cannot authorize third party repairs for any reason and 100% of warranties will require a warranty claim sheet to be submitted before any warranty support can be performed. Electronic failures are warrantied for 24 months/unlimited miles and require the defective part to be sent in first. If a valve body only needs a cleaning service due to external contamination such as clutch material, reasonable labor cost for that service will be charged.
