At Next Gen Diesel, we are proud to offer built 6L50-E transmissions for the 2.8L DuraMax Colorado/Canyon! We have discovered that the 6L50-E transmission is generally underbuilt for the great torque capabilities of these small motors. Though the design is efficient, enhancements in materials used and hydraulic efficiency leave great room for benefit in applications ranging from daily driving and towing, to drag racing and sled pulling. Once built, the 6L50-E can be an especially versatile and capable transmission.
