Billet Steel O-Ringed Solenoid Regulator Valve Set:
All General Motors 10L90-E transmissions use a set of 6 different solenoid regulator valves. These valves are one of the most important upgrades a skilled technician can perform in any 10L90-E transmission as they are responsible for activating and deactivating clutch packs when the computer commands them to do so. By nature, they are found to be leaking oil between circuits, in some amount, on almost every 10L90-E valve body we receive here as a core.
We resolved this problem permanently with an easy, drop-in solution. Our billet steel solenoid regulator valves feature O-Rings on all portions of the valve where they can, preventing the crosspollenation of oil between circuits. Further, these valves are made of billet stainless steel with a polished finish, proprietary to us, that are tested and proven to never damage the bore.
Additionally, we redesigned the on/off portion of the valve to no longer have the unnecessary feed journals that delay shift engagement as the miles accumulate. These valves must be used as a complete set to operate properly. Further they are proven to decrease shift times significantly without increasing harshness in any way by keeping the shift engagement within the fuel derate of the engine flawlessly, giving your 10L90-E our trademark shift quality.
