Reinforced & Updated Allison 4WD Adapter Housing:

     The factory Allison 4WD Adapter Housing is very prone to cracking because of its thin castings in various parts of the case’s adapter housing. Allison later released an updated version strengthening these specific areas to prevent this problem in the future with an affordable update that doesn’t require junking the transmissions core like in the past.

     This updated OEM housing is not only greatly impervious to cracks and other failures, but can come with the OEM Allison updated ball bearing and ball bearing snap ring in place, along with (2) OEM Allison Gaskets; one for the transfer case, one for the transmissions main case.
