47RE/48RE 300M Billet Input Shaft (23 Spline)

Next Gen Drivetrain, Inc.

The Problem:

In 1994, the 47RH was granted a lockup style input shaft. This style of input shaft required a lube circuit to be built into the shaft, forcing it to be more susceptible to failure. The 47RE and 48RE are both notorious for broken input shafts in various environments.

The Solution:

This 300M Billet Steel input shaft is heat treated, and designed to withstand about 60% more shock than the OEM shaft. This is a perfect upgrade for hotshotting/towing, general reliability and peace of mind, but is a must for heavy towing, high performance or triple disk/damperless torque converters!
